The packing slip doesn't mention anything about a backorder. It does mention a "US Web" offer, but doesn't specify that it's the HD Connect offer. /shrug I got a reply from Sling Store support, saying...

I had a similar problem after moving my SlingBoxAV from one room to another. It streamed just fine, but wouldn't transmit remote signals. All I did was unplug the IR blaster and plug it back...
